All four sides present, but no capstone. There was a capstone present in 1897, which has now disappeared. though a fragment may have survived. This may be the cist Butler reports Carrington referring to.

"Quite near to (the summit cairn), and almost covered with turf, is a kistvaen."
A conical cairn that had been built on this site sometime after August 2000 was dismantled by the DNPA and DPA in 2008.
